The function of the bottom valve of the metering pump
The bottom valve of the metering pump has a certain weight which can keep the suction pipeline straight and ensure that the suction pipeline is perpendicular to the chemical drug tank. Additionally, it is also a check valve that maintains the forward flow of the chemical drug solution. The bottom valve also helps to improve the repeatability accuracy of the pump and the normal washing solution. There is a filter screen inside the bottom valve to prevent solid particles from being sucked into the suction pipeline. Small solid particles being sucked in may cause damage to the pump diaphragm. The bottom valve also includes connecting pieces to connect the suction pipe. The bottom valve should be installed vertically and keep the bottom valve at a certain distance from the bottom of the drug storage tank. This is very important for most metering pump bottom valves that operate by self-suction.
